CONSTRUCTION ZONE — A 20-foot empty dirt lot has been causing a stir lately among residents as a bulldozer was seen cruising around the rectangular area with one resident believing "it'll probably definitely be a theme park" even though the full width of the lot is 20 feet wide.
“I think it’ll probably be a football stadium,” said another resident Tina Chap confident that 60,000 roaring fans will fit into the storage container-sized area. “They haven’t said much, which makes me believe it’s gonna be something legendary,” continued Tina as the construction crew measured the length and corrected that it was actually only 11 feet wide.
But resident, Chris Pop, says otherwise . Chris believes “it will definitely be a theme park like Coney Island,” even though the construction crew struggled to fit a measuring tape into the area. “I’ve always wanted a ferris wheel down the street,” continued Chris as he started taking his prediction as fact.
Bulldozer operator, Henry Hut, says empty lots suddenly being developed after years of vacancy can spark fantastical fantasies among residents.
"Every time I get on a job site, people start projecting their pipe-dream fantasies onto the lot without thinking of the reality of the situation," said Henry as he mocked up a drawing for Tina that showed 60,000 people trying to fit into a 7 foot lot. "It's aggravating."
Chris was seen attempting to open a cotton candy tent in front of the construction zone saying “I plan on getting a vendor tent in here early before the theme parks built, you know before things get competitive in the area,” as Henry drove by in his bulldozer taking out the cotton candy tent yelling “what the hell is this doing here?”
