FLORIDA — In what appeared to be a Floridian phenomenon, a signature vacation-style Panama hat materialized on tourist Sheila Pipton's head within moments of walking off a plane at a Florida airport.

“I was just about to order a CocoCab, which is a cab shaped like a coconut, when I happened to look in a mirror and see the thing appear out of thin air,” said Sheila excited at the prospect of getting a complimentary hat.

Locals report they frequently see tourists leaving the airport wearing the hats with some even having 10 or more Panama hats stacked on their head signaling they are indeed ready to sit under a palm tree listening to Jimmy Buffet for a week.

Local tour guide ‘Diesel Ray’ called it “one of Florida’s many natural wonders.”

It wasn’t long before Diesel Ray handed Sheila a promotional flyer and convinced her to join his speed boat thrill ride in the harbor at which point Sheila’s Panama hat was nabbed by a dolphin in a bikini who did a backflip over Diesel Ray's boat.
