Everyone In Town Wearing Same Flannel

DOWNTOWN It seemed every resident in town immediately donned the same red plaid flannel dubbed “The October Flannel” from a local shop, Theanna’s Boutique, downtown over the weekend.

Theanna’s said the shirt came in yesterday and people descended upon the boutique like ducks to a breadcrumb when the flannel was placed on a hanger in the front window for display.

“We’re the only ones in town who sell flannel,” said store owner Theanna Scarborough as she sold a pile of a dozen of the same flannels to one customer, “Lucky us we sold a shirt to pretty much everyone in the county and created a flannel monopoly right here in town."

Popular establishments like Main Street Cafe were completely overrun by flannel-wearing locals who resoundingly made the revelation they had the same shirt on and began quizzing each other on where and when they bought it.

“I bought mine at Theanna’s,” said local resident Molly O’Hara just as fellow resident Jameson Lawson piped up saying “well, I'll be damned, I bought mine at Theanna’s too.”

“Us too,” said married couple Jay and Daisy Bubbadoo, a little uneasy that they all had the same sense of fall style.

Residents went on to say they purchased the seasonal button-up hoping they would be the only one in town wearing the flannel but were shocked to find out 10,000 other people in town had the same idea.

Town residents were seen shopping for the same sherpa-lined shoes as Theanna’s placed a single boot for display in their shop window before residents attempted to join together and just split a pair.
